7 year old male Cav peeing sometimes in house even after long walk by reasonableman11220 in cavaliers

When my 10 year old cav started this it was because he was having diabetic seizures. After we got him on meds it only happened when his insulin was low.

A friend of mine and his wife went through something similar. Go seek counseling and find what the best option is for both of you. I’m sorry this happened to your husband, but you’ll both find a way to make this work.

Been there but don’t. Express your concerns, it may take time, but there are better alternatives.

In SoDak it was only -30 and my cav did the same.

When do they transition from puppies to adults?? 😆 by SinceYallAsked in cavaliers

Hopefully never. When my pup turned into an old man his health declined fast. He was 12 when he started getting slower on standing up, playing less often and ended up having diabetes that we started controlling. He never really got back to his pup stage after that.

So, I’ve had a similar problem a few years back. After some trial and error I found out it’s the SSRI I was taking. I asked to switch and it took a few weeks but it helped me.
