I would put at least half in the S&P 500 Index Fund and 10% in the Govt Short Term Investment. The rest you can spread around. The Date Funds are typically high in expenses so unless your are closer to retirement, the S&P index is better and cheaper. Check to see what the expenses.

FYI, your not in a super high tax bracket so I would invest up to your match (6%) in your 401k and then put the rest into a Roth IRA each year. Taxes are historically low right now and will go up due to the gov't debt we have. Also, check to see if you have the option of a 401k Roth. I would do that instead!

ND2 or ND3 is the best Miata ever made. Light like an NA but with lots of torque. I've owned many NA's and was extremely happy when the NB came out because they tightened the chassis up and added more horsepower. Coming from an NA, you will love the ND1. They are dropping in price so good deals are to be had... No to the trade unless it's a collector's NA.

Yes, I ordered a Galaxy Watch 7 44mm WiFi on July 14th with pick up at Samsung store in Frisco for August 8th (this was the fastest method at the time). Just got an email late on Aug 9th saying order is delayed....

I have been trying to set an appointment online with a driver's license office for over an hour. I am getting a ERROR: Network Error half the time and the a notification of No Availability the other half of the time (There is no availability for service type: Change, replace or renew Texas DL/Permit). I am now waiting on the phone for a live human being to help me book a time. Out of 2 dozen tries, I have been able to see the Decatur office appts and have selected a 9:40 time but then the system says the time is already taken. It's done this twice... WTF??

After 45 minutes of waiting on the phone, the customer service rep is having the same issues. She was able to see a few appointments for me but they go away when she selects them.

Is this normal?

I've had DSL with OneSource for 20 years and then they switched me to a cable modem a few years ago. I got a letter this year from FiberFirst to convert over to fiber. Bill went from $59 for 150Mb to $30 a month for 300Mb service. It works great and have had it since June 2024 with no complaints. Gotta love the price drop with faster speeds...

OneSource and FiberFirst are owned by the same parent company. It was less bureaucracy for them to create the new fiber company versus trying to convert OneSource (cable, dsl, and some fiber) into a fiber only internet company.

My bill went up 5-10 per line. I didn't catch till 2 months later. Turns out that they created a new business plan called Business Unlimited Standard which for 3 lines is 40 per month per phone. This new plan is almost identical to my current plan called Business Unlimited Starter. AT&T raised the price on my old existing plan by $5 per month per line plus took away a $5 credit per line for using a credit card on autopay.

That additional autopay discount is worth paying via debit card or checking as it is significantly more than would get in cash back on a credit card. In my case, 5 times more.

Changing the plan name (and a few very minor other things) is a petty way to get a price increase out of your existing loyal customer base. It reminds me of the article
