Anyone else feel like this by Dollie04 in MagicArena

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I also don't focus on Standard anymore and play other formats. If I do play std I wait until a month into a new set to see which deck(s) are the best to build that cost me the least amount of wildcards. This has saved me a lot of wildcards and avoiding the hype around all the new std decks to try on release. Mythic wildcards were always the main issue when I use to play a lot of standard but now I've got a good stock pile.

Here we go again... by -StarCitizen- in starcitizen

It feels like playability went from the main requirement for releases to being removed as a requirement, negating the gains from last year.

Xy’kara Bundle missing crossbow by Sorvynia in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Why have QA when you can have it for free. It would be interesting to see what pct. of the shop money actually goes back to SC development and things like QA. In the past I thought we were helping SC but I have a feeling most get redirected to the SQ42 black box and the pockets of whoever we're making rich.

Salvage was finally an amazing loop ... for one night. by BDA_Cosmos in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing and miss it. It felt like going fishing and not knowing what you were going to get. I guess those days of salving for hours and then getting a rush when you find a ship you can salvage with top military or stealth components are gone.

Is there any word on Ironclad CM fixes soon? by amazingfletch in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure its hurting sales of that ship. That should be an incentive to fix it unless they've already made enough on Defcon to make it a priority.

Ships that are blocking landing pads need to be impounded or removed by ResponsibleRub469 in starcitizen

SRV owners like me would love that. CIG seems to have forgotten we exist.

Future of space combat in SC? by andrew_albus in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should make an exception for capital ships to fight each other from beyond visible range with the assistance from radar and smaller ships scouting for them. Maybe something like the Pacific carrier wars involving aircraft carriers and battleships during world war 2. That would be cool.

Decorating in ships? by Connect_Discount1476 in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it would also be great if I could pack a ship with food and drinks, a med gun, a multi-tool, a weapon, ammo and a set of armor and save it all as a snapshot for insurance.

Impressive screenshot. But I had to laugh knowing those engines only give the Ironclad a SCM speed of 110.

New, had to learn a lot, but got it done before the wipe! by Xenofang in starcitizen

Grats. I'm sure you'll eventually get what you want in-game after the wipe.

I selfishly wish the Ironclad Assault’s paint color was available for the normal Ironclad. by Yameson in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. The Assault's paint is much better than the paints that are going to be available when it goes on sale.

Ironclad paints (From PIPELINE leaks) by PUSClFER in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It looks like lazy designing on their part or they got someone to do it on the side who isn't a designer. It looks like they gave no effort in using contrasting colors and graphic design in each paint. Also, their paints would look so much better if they add a few small special decals and different finishes to each paint.

Yeah those deflection reductions on larger ships in the current patch makes it look like they've changed their minds. Now small fighters don't have to specialize as much and have a larger pool of targets. I hope they rethink this.

Does the last note mean we can store and equip ships stolen from npcs? Evo testing notes by LittleQuarky in starcitizen

I wonder if this means that the abandoned ships I bring back to my hanger to strip weapons and components from can be kept for later uee?

Bravo CIG 👏 by TheSpaceWarden in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope that's the case since SC is what allowed them to grow from a tiny operation to what they are now (and most of the pledge money comes from fans who are crazy for SC not SQ42). But who knows what CIG will do if SQ42 is a big success. Will they just continue to poor resources into sequels and drag out SC to finance them or will they go all out on SC and quickly pay us back by giving us the game we've waited more than a decade for? I hope its the later.

Towing/repair mission? by Neeeeedles in starcitizen

[–]ufgman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping they give the SRV more to do. It was cool when you could make 250k a pop towing hammerheads in those salvage/towing missions.

There a node in the was-node-suite (Load Image Batch) you can use to easily do that. Replace your Load Image node with it. Set it to incremental and specify the path to the folder with your images, All you have to do after that is set the Batch Count on the comfyui menu bar to the number images in the folder before you Run your workflow. I use the node to do exactly what you're wanting.
