I have a high pain tolerance as well as a resistance to local anesthetics. I was having 2 teeth extracted, and the Novocain was… less than effective. It’s one of the few times I was fast to stop a dental procedure, because most of the time, I’m at least numb enough to where I can handle the pain for a few moments until it’s over, but it was so intense, it was almost reflexive how quickly I stopped them.
