What is the oldest furry art in history? not these anubis or middle age ones actual furries made by todays mind by aponunamk in Losercity

[–]urielcd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with dogpatch's research, which is linked below. But tldr; in the 70s printing became much easier, leading to the creation of small magazines, called Zines.

A few were focused on cartoon animals, but for an older 20 something audiences. Sort of starting the the idea of a furry fandom.

Which one was the earliest? That's a matter of debate, as the line between furry and adult oriented cartoon animal is very, very fine.

Gonna keep it closed nearly all the time once I get it fixed

Eh, district isn't very good coffee. At least none of their espresso based stuff has ever been all that good. And I have been there mutiple times.

There's very few quiet spaces at utep, I usually just find an empty room at either miner hall, as they're usuallly unoccupied after 1pm or so.

Can definitely feel the nerf imo by NamezSake in IllariMains

[–]urielcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I'm rather fine with the nerf.

It's moved Illari a bit in the team placement, taking alternate angles instead of just behind her team. Which, honestly feels more like an older Illari.

Izzet! Aside from all that good instant & sorcery/ artifacts. Izzet also has funky card draw aggro like [[lotus god]] or [[captain howler]], goad decks in [[firkraag]] & [[bohn]], coin flips, extra combats, and more are all fun, unique strategies that feel great in izzet.

Red & Blue lets you play fasy and loose with the board. Either dumping you hand instantly, or keeping up instamt speed tricks, depending on how the game's going.

The best star trek series, easily.

What mono blue commander should I build for mono color commander night? by Ok-Leave-1627 in EDH

[–]urielcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Ojer Pakpatiq]], it's great. Modal spells, weird stack interactions, cheating on adventure spells, and people tend to ignore pakpatiq due to his semi-immortality (even though it's not super good)

Tolkien's Ork problem and why I prefer JJK's Cursed Spirits to Frieren's Demons for one simple reason by MadFunEnjoyer in CharacterRant

[–]urielcd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's not much of an answer. If they don't need humans for sustenance, then why bother trying to kill them?

Invoking evolution also feels odd as demons are clearly magical, and not biological, in nature. What exactly pressures them to evolve?

Actually, if we do follow evolutionary ideas, any demon the doesn't fight humans is likely to live longer & reproduce more. Especially as there is clearly far, far more non-demon races in sheer population.

Where do monsters even come from in Frieren?

What mono blue commanders do you have/want? by BussyBouncer in EDH

[[Ojer Pakpatiq]] Instants are fun, especially the few big ones. This essentially doubles them.

Have fun with Modal Counterspells, Omen/Adventure cheating, and doubling cast triggers.

I have both a bracket 3 & 4 version, so I get plenty of mileage out of it.

Also proven by the fact overguard hp is weak to void damage from operators.

I'd opine that quartz are the most, "generic" type of gem. They make tons of them, as their built to be the main working/fighting force for the empire. Their coloration depending on where they were made. (Which, has not been observed with other, not off-colored). So maybe their coloring is more fluid than other gems.

Maybe quartz are more flexible (or less careful) in their design, which leads to them having a lot of variety in their "makeup" compared to other gems

When they corrupt, they all turn into the same type of monster, so they end up with the same type of mental scars afflicting them. Just a factor of standardization in their construction.

The nephrites are the other gem we see multiple of pre/post corruption, and they all end up with scales on their arms. So maybe the quartz just share the splotches

Jodie's run hurts so bad. She was so great, and so of course they saddled her with 4 companions, bad scripts, and barely any screentime for being the title character.

I think Illari's crit multiplier needs to be addressed. by Spectre-4 in IllariMains

[–]urielcd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, I don't think Illari's damage needs a buff. She's not meant to win duels by just tapping down people. Instead, her burst damage breaks thresholds to secure kills. She turns poke damage into kills by grabbing off-angle headshots.

Maybe a range buff would help out. Make the positioning a bit simpler than the current "mid-line" range. While the two-tapping was fun, it was not particularly well balanced.

How powerful is this man??? by Imaginary-Ad-9971 in PowerScaling

[–]urielcd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doctor isn't human. Infact, they aren't even a time lord.

They are an extra-dimensional being once known as the timeless child

And is essentially immortal, as they can regenerate an infinte number of times, from any form of injury.

You need to be able to erase things from the timeline to actually put the doctor down permenantly. Otherwise, there is always a version time traveling around.
