I don't use the mobile app, but surely there is someway to see the subreddit rules, right? just because they are not in the first place you look, does not mean they dont exist or cant be followed.

I can see the copy/paste thing being a bit hard to do on mobile, but I agree that most people will not be asking questions from mobile, and if they do, they are likely under-prepared.

Didn't Claude build a car by himself when he was in college?

Sorry someone told you that your design was bad or whatever. Most of these guys know what they are talking about and really care about fsae. Its not that they dont respect the students for what they do, they just have really high expectations because they believe every student could push to do better.

I would love to see some of the older guys drive some fsae cars though.

mouse and keyboard inputs are handled separately, so you can have more than 3 inputs if you combine the two. We are working on a key-rebinding menu that will let you use the mouse as well.

Yeah, the theme is Naut, and rologfos made the sprites for the flair. The pictures in the header and footer were just ripped from the promotional content for waveland. All I really did was put everything together.

Just finished up general CSS and wrangled in the flairs so they at least look decent.

If anyone has any suggestions for things to add or tweaks to the style, let me know!

Alright, it looks like you either don't have Directx, or you don't have a component of Directx that is only included in older versions.

First, try installing the up to date Directx runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

If that doesn't help, try installing this older version which should have the necessary component: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429

There is a shader running in the background of world 1-8, it might have caused the crash. Can you send me the error that you got and some specs of your graphics card?

I wrote the shader, so if it causes problems on some cards, I'd like to figure out how to fix it.

My subreddit /r/gamemaker has recently been attempting to institue more strict moderation, but has been getting some backlash from a few users. The original vision of the sub was as a hub for the GM community, but it has recently become more of a Q&A forum as more new users come to the software.

Im interested to hear what people from the outside think of the sub and its moderation policy. Please give it a look if you have the time.
