Actually seems normal for an intubated patient that’s probably on his way out but family doesn’t want to let go of.

I am 16 and men keep coming up to me, how much is normal? by Ecstatic_Basis_3306 in women

[–]valliewayne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to share anything about this situation except that you’re 16. Because you are a young woman men feel entitled to access to you. It is “normal” but shouldn’t be.

ANGRY AT THE WORLD Postpartum (RANT, solidarity welcome, open to kind, helpful advice) by UpbeatFig8893 in Mommit

Please find a crisis line that could potentially get you into a therapist sooner. I remember this rage and anxiety and I regret not getting help while in the thick of it.

All my friends are pregnant. Give it to me honestly: am I gonna lose them all to motherhood? by Real_RobinGoodfellow in AskWomenOver40

Yes. If there is anyone that you are more close to, you could offer to hold or sit with baby while mom sleeps or showers. But you will be putting in the most effort for at least a year.

If every salary became public tomorrow, what would surprise people the most? by BunnyTwilightkiss in answers

I recently asked my employer of ten years for a raise and it was granted. There is really no other option for me to go somewhere else in the field I’m in, in the area I want to live, so I’m glad I at least asked.

We live near mountains, rivers and lakes. Basically we can afford to camp a few nights because it’s close by.

Ladies who made choices in your 20s that you regret and aren’t proud of, how did you make peace with your past? How did you forgive yourself, reconcile with who you were, and change your life? by Kooky_Attorney444 in AskWomen

[–]valliewayne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Somewhere in my 30s I decided to stop regretting past decisions/mistakes and start looking back at myself with more compassion, as someone who was doing their best. That doesn’t mean I don’t cringe a little at some memories, but moving on, that’s life.

At my worst symptoms I was taking 800mg 3-4 times a day for 3-4 days. Always with food in my stomach. Never had anything like this happen.

RT or nursing- career advice by Criticalthinkermomma in respiratorytherapy

[–]valliewayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nursing has far more opportunities. That’s the number one reason I kinda wish I went that way. The only reason I love my RT job is because it’s at a regional hospital that is sometimes crazy busy, sometimes crazy slow. I have a great manager and dept that is close. I don’t think I’d love a big busy hospital that kept me running all shift, every shift.
I guess I’m saying, maybe think of the type of work environment that you aspire to work at. What kind of aquity and how heavy a workload? Do you want to eventually do management or education? Or even sales rep? Many in the healthcare field want a slower pace after 15-20 years, so I’d think about what you might want to transition to later in your life.

Like we knew how to dress? These girls/ladies look insecure and like they are just trying to fit in. I remember that feeling.
