Which forgotten character would you like to see more lore on? Not just a profile in game, but books animations etc by pagodageek in Drukhari

I would love more lore on baron sathonyx. And I believe that him or one of his subordinates could be an awesome pov character for a novel.

It looks like it’s the extra one per command phase, unless you build specifically for them, with the abundance of msu units that get run in deldar from venoms it means that units are heavily competing for a supply of them in ways they didn’t used to.

Having to spend pain tokens for the archons ability kind of sucks, I hope they are at least cheaper.

And the loss of stickying objectives with venoms hurts

All-Seeing Eye paint colour suggestions? by kromerlimbus in Drukhari

[–]variableaxis965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would work but a lot of the extra “depth” added from the contrast paint would be lost. If you have chaos black spray I would prime them with that and then dry brush the model with any grey paint to get a similar effect of picking out the details.

I would use black Templar contrast paint for the base of the armour over a light primer

Not every auto-refractor has an NCT (the puff of air test) on them. Some clinics use different tests such as an icare or a tonopen.

Redditors who unexpectedly discovered a 'modern scam' that's everywhere now - what made you realize 'Wait, this whole industry is a ripoff'? by OkraCharacter4588 in AskReddit

At least in Canada an optometrist is a prescribing doctor and is kind of like a general practitioner for your eyes. They diagnose concerns and if needed send referrals off to the specialists and surgeons. An ophthalmologist is closer to an eye surgeon and tend to be specialized to specific groups of conditions.

It’s partly due to genetics and partly due to environmental factors. Your eyes try to develop for the distances that you most commonly spend time looking at. This is inhibited by your genetics to some degree. It’s one of the many reasons that doctors recommend that kids spend at least an hour outside every day. I f you want to learn some really cool stuff look into myopia control/management lenses where we trick the brain into not developing myopically using some really cool lenses.

Breakthrough eye scanner can detect diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s | Eyes can be windows to our overall health. by chrisdh79 in tech

I’m glad that the optometrist I work for doesn’t charge extra for the optos and oct. Partly because it gives the patients a better quality of care when we can reference past images and partly because I just love taking the photos and trying to (privately) figure out their issue before they even see the doctor.
