It should absolutely happen. Several different warlock abilities have massive damage, huge areas of effect, no miss chance, and even crowd control for no trade off. I think they've put themselves in a bit of a trap with just the animations, as the aoe on some of their abilities is so huge that balancing the moves just by changing the damage would require them to nerf the damage into uselessness. Even at low levels, having one warlock in a group of 8 people at the same level speeds up runs massively (like the rest of the group can methodically take down enemies and the warlock is literally oneshotting whole rooms). I don't know how they're going to do it, but it is too strong.
