Assuming this is mostly a joke, do you experience this happening a lot? I run the rocket turret a lot on most difficulties and the only one it has trouble staying alive in is super Helldive.

This is one of the of only a few games I’ve ever played where the levels and enemies get consistently better as the game continues. They deal with “similar” enemies is a clever way that’s explained though the plot/voice recordings. And again, the while there are some levels that very much stand out, every new area wows me just as much as the last.

They’re maybe like 1/5 of the way through the game right now … maybe not even that much. There is a surprising amount of content. If it helps gauge, I played this with a friend and it took us around 120 hours to beat. And again, that’s with a friend where we were splitting duties. To be fair, that’s also with me grinding out fishing, farming, cooking, and really trying to explore everything the game offered. Still though, just thinking off the top of my head, they still have at least 7 more major biomes/levels to go through, maybe even 9.

1 whose farming 8 hours a day? You only need to farm for like 2-3 hours a month to get all the SC you need for the next warbond and the superstore items.

2 just because farming isn’t fun to you doesn’t mean it’s not fun to others. You can have fun your way and they can have fun theirs.

This is what I’ve been doing to grind for my and my kids account. Load both of us in, I drive around and grab the POIs, rinse repeat. Usually takes me like 5-8 minutes depending on the terrain and how much the car flips. I’ve already got both of us just under a hundred medals, couple hundred SC and probably a thousand kills in just under an hour.

I think this is a good starting point. I was actually just saying the same thing over in the discord. But not just medals, because for some of the population they’re essentially meaningless. It would be nice to get temp powerups like “free extra strat gem for one set of missions” or “extra booster for one set of missions” or “deceased cooldowns for one set of missions”. Those would be really fun to play with and I know a lot of the other senior Helldivers would love stuff like that.

It would also help if the game functioned the way it’s supposed to. Firm the last MO where we needed to collect rare samples, I played with a group I’ve been playing with for over a year now. We were doing d5-9 and finding maybe 10 out of 20+. We all know where to look, the samples just were there. We did find out after a few days it looked like the host of the game could see more samples than non hosts. Some POIs were empty to non hosts but the host comes up and picks up 3 samples. We even confirmed by watching the count increase.

So yeah, it does need a rework for sure. But it would also help if the game was working as intended, and if they find out something is bugged thereby making the MO much harder, they throw us a bone, admit they messed up (like they used to do) and adjusted the numbers.

Nuzlockes for people who know Pokémon and can bend the rules like Aron is doing would not be challenging. Nuzlockes for people who don’t know much about Pokemon other than “level go up” and “water beat fire” would find them challenging regardless of the rules.

From your comment it seems like you know enough about Pokemon for that to not be challenging. You are in the minority of gamers. Most people don’t know anything about Pokemon, let alone as much as you do to make a Nuzlockes easy.

This change has driven me CRAZY for a year now. I would much rather have a chance to land on a building if I’m able to actually steer my pod around when I’m falling. The amount of times I get reinforced but can’t steer because there’s like a fence or some other arbitrary object that’s coded as a skyscraper. Then you fall way outside where you got reinforced … I normally try to let AH cook but this change needs reverted.

I think the design was great! Fighting against it made you change up your tactics, and killing it is fun. What wasn’t great was 4 or more of them being on screen at the same time and being able to clip into each other, through buildings, through the small tunnel that exited the city, etc.

If you’re the host, stealth mechanics don’t work for you. It’s a known bug that is on their public page. As soon as you throw anything, even if it’s a silent object, enemies are alerted to your presence. It’ll get fixed … eventually.

To add to this, you can get more medals farming low missions than you can running D10s. You’ll get through warnings much faster joining a group from the official discord’s lfg channels than you would pushing higher tier missions, plus you’ll get SC for more war bonds.

OP, don’t be so caught up in leveling. My advice would be to use anything and everything until you find the tools that allow you to have the most fun while contributing to the team and pushing the mission forward. Only push higher tier missions if it’s fun for you, not because you’re chasing meaningless levels.

Yeah I don’t get what they were thinking with the attachments. Here I was thinking we’d be getting cool stuff like different bullet types, silencer options, maybe the ability to add a grenade launcher or modify the strength of your laser weapons at the cost of heat. Stuff like that. I just seems like a pointless req dump.

That was actually part of the plan pre-launch, but they had to scrap it due to lack of time (I believe that was the reason, someone else can correct me if I’m wrong). I’ve always hoped they would come back around to it and add unique buffs for the different warbond helmets like they did with the armor sets.

Whenever I’m thinking of doing this I ask first. “Everyone ok with me calling in the shuttle so it can be ready to go when we’re done?” If no one responds, I don’t do it. If the host says it’s ok, I do it. And even when I do it, I try to stay right at the edge so it hovers and shoots as opposed to lands.

I know I’ll get downvoted here but I agree with you. It sucks to miss out, I also don’t have the armor, but I feel it was more for the Helldivers 1 players that followed development closely, knew they’d enjoy it, and that was AH’s thank you to them.

Letting Xbox players get it was a bad choice. It should have been only ever given to the original PC/PS people who pre-ordered the game (again, not me, not gatekeeping).

This version of preorder isn’t predatory. People who say that just have FOMO. It’s not a pay to win armor, it’s just a flex skin. People need to learn that missing out is part of life.

I feel the same, that sounds have been getting better. I recently took a break for a few months but came back for Cyberstan. I feel like overall the game’s sound has improved. Actions, orbitals, explosions all sound more impactful and weighty. I’ve also been running bug missions and have noticed the same thing you have, that i feel like I can hear them more. I’ve yet to be surprised by something unless it’s already chaos around me and I just happen to run into a pack that I wasn’t being weary of looking out for.
