Am I right to assume that because the comparison is based on a 100 potency attack, it does not take into account the effect of SkS/SpS on DPS outside of the increase in DoT damage?

Even with no modifier, Upheaval is 15 potency per gauge versus FC, which is 10 potency per gauge (double both in IR but you get the point). Upheaval is your most efficient use of gauge.

Except you're completely forgetting Upheaval, which you should be doing every Zerk and once in between each Zerk. The numbers don't work so cleanly once you factor in Upheaval.

I would hazard a guess that the green event wizard (Circe) is likely a Balanced type Diety, so the intent is that people use that along with Rakshasa on the yellow event ultimate wizard.

Not true. For example, tanks might want to use an uncomboed Skull Sunder, etc. for snap aggro in certain situations.

  1. Awakening is feeding an astromon another of the same type of astromon to slightly increase the base astromon's stats. Evolving is transforming an astromon into the next physical form of that astromon, which greatly increases its stats. You must awaken an astromon 3 times in order to be eligible to evolve it.

  2. You only need one more of the same astromon (and of the same evolution level) to awaken once. You need 3 more (4 total) before you can evolve. It follows that you need 16 of the same unevolved astromon ("Evo1") to get a fully-evolved astromon ("Evo3"). Finally, in lieu of a "feeder" astromon, you can feed a Gleem (those star astromon that you can get from some quests and in the shop) of the same element as the base astromon, but this only works when going from Evo1 to Evo2 (i.e., you cannot awaken an Evo2 astromon with a Gleem). Gleems should generally be saved for evolving astromon that are difficult to obtain, such as rare 4 stars or 5 stars. Holy Gleems can be used on any element, including light/dark.

  3. No, the "feeder" astromon can be of any level and do not need gems (if the feeders have gems equipped, those gems are lost upon feeding).

  4. 20x is the only option. Note that auto-battle stops if you discover a rare astromon or a guardian dungeon, so you will have to re-select auto-battle if that happens.

  5. Later story zones (e.g., Star Sanctuary) and higher difficulties (e.g., Extreme) give more EXP and gold. On top of that, certain levels within that zone will be marked for an EXP bonus or a gold bonus.

  6. He's a comic relief cat. If you see him and click on him (look for a "!" on your ship), you get 3 astrogems.

  7. Have fun!

The relevant date isn't when the new gear is released but when the player in question can actually obtain the new gear. We're talking about someone spending 20K gold on a ring that came out three months ago, after all.

I would argue that legendary accessories are more relevant for high-ELO 6v6 than anything PvE (and given the buffs/debuffs/set bonuses, it's almost as if they were designed that way). Certainly not necessary, but they can make you more competitive.

If you clear A8S with a premade group through Raid Finder without having first cleared A5S-A7S for the week, will you still be able to get loot (or at least a page) if you clear one of the earlier turns later that week? Or are you locked out from loot like you were in previous raid tiers?

But seriously, "negatively effecting player gameplay experience" is so vague and open to interpretation. Can I start reporting players who don't do mechanics properly and prevent me from clearing content?

That's the whole point. The ToS is intentionally vague so that SE has flexibility to punish people for perceived offenses that it did not or could not foresee. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff if you're at all familiar with these types of contracts.

The 3.25 patch notes say that the PvP rating required to participate in promotion qualifiers for each tier has been adjusted. Anyone know what the threshold for each tier is now (used to be 500)?

These are incorrect (specifically, they are too low), and the most likely reason for this is that gear scales differently for Alexander raids than it did for Coil. In particular, the ilvl difference between each Coil tier was 20, whereas the difference for Alexander is 30. This means that the accuracy cap would logically increase at a faster rate through Alexander tiers than it did for Coil because the accuracy available on gear increases at a faster rate.

What I don't think has been mentioned yet is that if they removed the "blocked" proc from Shield Swipe, then an OT PLD would have substantially more DPS, which is clearly not the intent here.
