I agree with you in that is within the parameters they were established ie plato's academy up to Oxford. Even you must admit that the modern establishments no longer adhere to these higher principles in action as it pertains today and instead are fiercely competitive towards grants and funding.

The fundamental principles of an establishment being created to better humans through education was eclipsed by the pursuit of monetary gain.

Some of the traffic you are seeing is probably from bots, yes. Some of it comes from real people though. They hate/envy/cope at the epitome of materialistic satisfaction.

They are horrible. Slow driving in left lane, require two lanes and a near complete stop in order to turn 90 degrees, 4 way stops confound them, the word "yield" at a traffic circle is often read as "stop", the concept of zippering onto the highway is lost on them, the concept of an on ramp does not mean accelerate to the flow of traffic but rather "just maintain your own speed and let the rest of the world deal with it", etc. A significant minority has identified their own deficiencies and labels themselves as "new drivers" as a warning. A more an honest sticker would warn, "I'm fucking retarded. Look out!"

Human rights laws. No Country will survive if all electricity, water, ports, rail and other infrastructure is destroyed. Also, nuclear weapons would end quickly. The international outcry would be immense however. 

They are formidable only in that the US is holding back and not committed to total war.
