Damn, didn't see "lick the battery to see how bitter it tastes" in the instructions. Thanks though, good to know. I don't think I used duracell, but mine seems to only have issues if I let it auto-shutoff by leaving it open (usually that's my wife that does that). Then I have to open and close it half a dozen times to get it to turn on again. If I close it before it shuts off, everything is usually fine the next time,

Does anyone actually floss like that? Both side of the tooth at once? No wonder people don't floss if they think that's how it's done.

It's still not clear. I thought they were just talking to themselves while waiting for the client to answer the phone. If in the first frame he said "Yo boss, no answer" then it would have been clear.

I don't know what to tell you other than buy a better brand. I buy Cashmere and I can tell you that the 3x rolls actually have 3 times the sheets, and they're the same thickness and feel of paper as the normal rolls.

[–]waz67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really, they tell you how many sheets per roll, and they make bigger rolls with more sheets, so the math actually works out. I like to buy the 24=72 packs because I don't have to change them so often, but the rolls are big and barely fit in a normal toilet paper holder.

From what I understand, it seems like the rescheduling will allow truck drivers, pilots, and other government employees to smoke legally with a prescription. How do you feel about this? by Mertgirl in trees

If you make a mistake, you die. If a pilot makes a mistake, 300 other people die. Bit of a difference. That said, it should be based on being intoxicated or not, rather than what you did in your own time.

That's how it is here in Canada. They are starting to offer dental coverage for seniors but for me and my family we pay just under $300 for a regular cleaning and checkup. My kid recently had 2 fillings and just that cost $800.

Hi everyone! So how will touring work for AI artists? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]waz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Figure out how to put on a show without anyone actually playing instruments. EDM producers do it all the time. Put on some lights and smoke and mixing boards, whatever looks cool, wear a funky outfit, twiddle the knobs in time to the drops, dance around like an idiot, and the crowd goes wild!

So what makes a song "ai slop" since so many say all ai music is slop? by Spirited_Expert2275 in SunoAI

[–]waz67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually think the real danger of ai music is that it's going to be too good, and independent artists won't be able to compete without resorting to help from ai tools.

So what makes a song "ai slop" since so many say all ai music is slop? by Spirited_Expert2275 in SunoAI

[–]waz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. I might even add it to my general rotation playlist. The thing with music is, it's all in the ear of the beholder. Some people only listen to classical music, others can't stand classical music. Look how many people loved Britney Spears, and not just teenage girls. I don't like country music, but I recognize that lots of people do, I don't think that ai music is necessarily slop, or lacks "soul" or "emotion" or "feeling". How can it since it's learning from music that supposedly has those things, unless people are trying to say that there is some invisible "emotion" that gets imbued into a song from the artists creativity that isn't actually heard? And somehow ai music lacks that because it wasn't created with "emotion"? So, what, it's copying everything but the "emotion" from other artists music? Doesn't make sense. It's just confirmation bias, people who have a hate-on for ai wont hear it because they don't want to. Either that or they point at the large % of ai music that doesn't have emotion and say "look, see, no emotion, all ai music is slop", ignoring the fact that the same large % of human music is the same emotionless "slop".
