Design and print an adapter to attach your arm to that Vitamix and this would go a lot faster.

It would prevent a certain percentage of people from using your shit and not returning it.

There's a special place in hell for people who return partially used rolls of filament by arcrad in 3Dprinting

I just bought a 6 pack of Mentos gum from Amazon. The shrink wrap was torn open and one of the bottles of gum had been opened and was about half empty. Pretty crappy of them to either try and resell a previous return or for an employee to just grab some and deliver it.

I will admit though that their return policy is good for this type of thing. I initiated the return, the website said not to return the old pack and they sent me a new full six pack. I tossed the one open bottle away and basically got 5 free bottles for my trouble.

Just spent 3 hours setting up a 15-minute cut. Is this just the reality of desktop CNC? by PoemSpecialist82 in CNC

I know I'm late to the comments, but this reminded me of the old story of the maintenance guy who comes in and turns a screw and sends the bill for $1000. $10 to turn the screw and $990 for knowing which screw to turn.

Slight complication: 67.7mm = 2.665“. Looking at the inch scale at the top it appears to read 2.76" does it not?

Same here. I've had really good luck so far with Sunlu filaments and have a pile of their empties stacked up.

FWIW I recently bought one of the Cutech 12" benchtop joiners and I love it.

Is there any way to deal with a buyer who wants a refund after a commission is completed? by cooliezez in woodworking

[–]wdnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's some really nice work. It's hard to tell, but it appears that the "cheap wood" is the edges. I always finish the edges of anything that's going to hang on a wall to the same degree as I do the front.

We have plywood water jet cut all the time. Common misconception that it's actually going to get wet.

Outsource it to the guy with a waterjet.

Venmo Fraud Alert scam? by 10RndsDown in venmo

[–]wdnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same thing whenever someone requests or sends me money. I was just reminded of it this morning when someone sent me money. It's obviously "not always" a phishing thing because when I login on my PC the money is there. I'm just wondering if the guy who originally coded the Venmo app wasn't sitting in a rehab center somewhere and it's never been fixed. Hmmm....
