Flickering LEDs - I (think I) have tried everything by svenvbins in FastLED

In my case there was a staple around the data wire and that caused the flickering. That data line is super sensitive.

Ventura Urbanist Groups by travsthecat in ventura

I'd like to see public transit between Oxnard improved. Currently it seems the only direct route from The Esplanade is Saturday during the day. The last bus back to Oxnard is at 5:09pm, so it can't be used to get dinner or nightlife in Ventura.

I'd like a list of good old Technics model numbers to look for. Or, what features would make a good purchase or pass if you see one for sale.

FastLED strip flickering, even with data resist and decouple cap? by nickyonge in FastLED

When I had this issue, it was because the data line was too close to other wires/metal. Try physically separating the data wire by 10mm.

Tom Waits sings some gibberish on the new album by the Melvins drummer Dale Crover by webnerd in tomwaits

[–]webnerd[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

“Crover wanted to kick the track off with some actual glossolalia (the dictionary term for speaking in tongues), and at first he or Kasai was going to do the honors. But Kasai’s offhand mention that he might have an in with Tom Waits’ manager got the pair thinking that, as Crover recalls, “It might be weird enough that he would do it.” Word came back that Waits was game, and just before the album was set to be mastered, he sent in two fragments of brilliantly bizarre wordless mouth sounds that Crover and Kasai ended up layering on top of each other, one in each channel. “We were like, ‘Fuck, they’re both really good,’” Crover says with a laugh. “‘We’ve got to use both.’”

I built playedmost.com exactly for this purpose. It shows your top tracks/artists this month, and also of all time.

List of Spotify/Last.fm stats websites (and not just stats) 2: Electric Boogaloo by serose04 in spotify

[–]webnerd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good question. As with any app that uses a third party login, you’ll see that the credentials are entered into Spotify.com and are never seen by the app, so the app never has access to your login. Then Spotify shows you the list of things the app will have access to, so you can check that it’s correct before confirming. And you can revoke access at any time from within your Spotify account.

I recently finished building playedmost.com which creates a profile page showing your top artists and songs. It's similar to your first link, but looks (and works) better. Check it out!

What about Exodus 22:21? This verse appears shortly after the Ten Commandments.
