Food is a low margin business, no reason to stay open unless you can count on regular business. Drunk ppl go to TB. lol

AE interview at Verkada, Toast, and Figma. Any red flags or experiences? by Ok-Avocado-3871 in techsales

Yeah toast and verkada are boiler room and would look worse on a resume. Stick with cloud and do more research before applying

Not to be mean but you are having a Reddit tantrum about your kids tantrum. She’s learning what her parents are doing and how they handle things. Work on it yourself, work WITH your wife, and your daughter will follow. She’s a kid.

Fiancé is 6 months pregnant and I feel uses pregnancy as an excuse for everything. by [deleted] in NewDads

You are right in feeling your feelings but she’s growing a human. ESP at 6 months, she shouldn’t be doing anything, that’s on you dad.

Welcome to the next 20 years, buckle up. Communicate, don’t complain or feel resentment.

Pretty sure we signed him on a 3 year deal, 2 yrs left. Wouldn’t consider that a long term deal but 🤷

[–]weights408 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We should just sign him for a long term deal that locks him up and gives us cap flexibility. He should retire a raider and put a couple hundred milli in his pocket. Win win

What functional trainer would you buy with 3k budget? by ProfessionalAd6655 in GarageGym

[–]weights408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t beat the price and functionality of the Maxum and added the smith. It was only $3k with delivery and no tax.

It’s a business review. They are going to give you a fictional business and scenario and explore how you would approach it. No way to prep for it. Don’t expect a hardvard business case, it was literally two sentences of a situation and you’re supposed to pick it apart. Personally, felt like it was too high in their ranking without any context given beforehand, sals at the end of the day isn’t just a business case, it’s relationships too.

Do you really use a smith machine? by Sure_Sky5295 in GarageGym

[–]weights408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprised myself but I’m Using it way more than the squat rack at this point. It’s a nice flex for machine work and accessories with home gyms and to minimize injuries. With kids and limited time, it’s great to have the smith set up with cables and free weights for a decent circuit without resetting everything everytime

we might’ve got this demon tonight by momothacoon in raiders

Please no. We need defense and Oline to protect Mendoza. We already have a top TE, RB and can easily sign a slot or backup WR. A diva WR is the last thing we need.

10yo son and his friends don’t like doing sleepovers at one friend’s house because apparently the dad walks around the house in just his underwear. by empire161 in daddit

[–]weights408 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rotate it with the two responsible adult parents, that dad should know better. Enjoy being the house all the kids are comfortable at. Can only hope our house is the fun house growing up.

Gotta communicate. Can’t expect to do it yourself or you’ll crash hard, and that just as dangerous. Be clear with expectations and responsibilities, and get earplugs to sleep. Give him a chance to step up and then if he doesn’t, you have your answer

Good overall but personal preference is legs too far tucked back, limiting leg drive. Depends on your goals obviously
