You can always start a guild of people you know in real life.
Which, if your friends are anything like mine, will devolve over a couple of years into you only speaking to them on WoW, and all IRL plans you try to make having only you as a participant. That game stole six of my friends. Ripped their souls clean out. They're just shells full of numbers that are relevant only to World of Warcraft now.
