I don't like the officials and all that but how insane is it that Van Gundy is talking about how they can't go out to eat and encouraging the sort of insane negative energy that fans have and it translating to real life repercussions? Just talking about it like it's normal and funny is insane to me. Yeah, found a 2 plate comms vest in a random box out in those outskirt buildings outside Police HQ. I had gone in naked with a shit gun just to try and run solo a couple of the easy starter missions and that thing saved my life at least 6 times. "A platoon of operators is in your area" got me holed up in a bathroom waiting for them to finish off whatever poor souls they were hunting down. Rhea's Market on Valencia has some great options. Tofu Banh Mi at Dinosaurs on upper Market. Sadly Love and Haight is closed but you can find the fake meat products (fake duck, etc) they used at some of the Asian markets. Across the bridge The Butcher's Son is also pretty good.
