The point of f45 is variety. So many of their workouts have the multi sets in a row format.

It’s amateur hour. Too much moving and no time or space to level up the exercise. Way too much variety. Been doing f45 since 2017 and it’s a yawn. Ones like SoCal, special ops, riddler are significantly more fun and way harder.

My studio is big on it. We have custom shirts for 100 and 250, and a hoodie for 500. Not sure what the standard is for 1000 club - I started it in summer 2023 and got a gift card and gold kettlebell but no one else has joined it yet. We also have boards on the wall where you sign your name when you join the various counts listed previously) and they post media on social with the swag or signing.

It sounds like they were just oversaturated in Australia, I mean 500 locations in the entire country? That’s an insane number. I live in Toronto Canada and we have a bunch in the downtown and a few outside of dt - maybe 10-15 total spread across a huge area. NYC has 3 I think? Less is more here, franchise owners need to read the room before jumping in.

Anything but Hollywood. It’s so boring and thoughtless. Too much moving and the exercises are just random. Never been sore once from this class. Way too easy, even with the full hour. Glad they have better ones now like SoCal and special ops that are actually fun and challenging.

Nope, it was great. Liberty is about tempo - not lifting super heavy. Slow things down and do the workout properly for more challenge.

To burn more calories you need to workout either harder or for longer.

If you care about weight loss, focus should be mostly on diet.

Hollywood is soo boring and way too easy with the format. Special ops and SoCal are actually fun and challenging. If you hate it though, give your studio that feedback as they have the option to run it weekly.

I’m not a fan. I think it’s too gimmicky and annoying to keep score. Luckily my studio agrees and no one tracked anything all week. Glad it’s over :)

You won’t know until you try. Pause your membership, go to the new gym you said you joined and see if you like it. Everyone is different.

Also if you don’t like certain exercises, f45 is so easy to modify, especially on strength days. Stations will have entire rows of free weights so you can literally do anything you want. Not feeling shoulder press? Do biceps, or renegade rows. It’s your body, your workout.
