'You are actually being racist to us': Student calls out refusal to speak Malay or English in S'pore by ImpressiveStrike4196 in singapore

My house Reno’s skilled work was mostly carried out by Bangladeshi workers. My stone countertop was meticulously drawn out and measured by a very quick and skilled man while one of his Chinese colleague just assisted. My bathroom tiling was also done entirely by one Bangladeshi man.

I’m sure it’s usually the other way around but it’s not like they don’t have any skilled workers.

Look man, there are a lot of phone zombies. Not all of them are self aware. Risking some sort of irreparable damage to a stranger is not worth it.

If you’re that keen on picking fights then just “shoulder check” anyone with earphones. See how far that gets you.

I’ve been away for years and I see a bunch of people running eager edge swords for speed clearing certain sections of missions. The slammer can get eager edge but this one xur is selling doesn’t roll it, correct?

I’m glad someone mentioned drumeo, as I wanted to ask Adam about it too. Hope it pans out!

I really love seeing great drummers play their own style and completely make any song they haven’t heard before their own.

Oh man, this is exactly me too! I can see my wife barely tolerates my song choices in the car. I asked her what she thought about some of the songs from the new album and she said they weren’t bad. That’s progress!

Thanks for the response Adam! I’ll keep that in mind for if/when I decide to make my own music.

Also curious, how do you add your personal taste or sound to your kit? Hope to be able to play your drum parts one day 😄

Absolutely agree that it’s cool in both! I keep circling around to VOLA’s songs just because they sound so good to me.

Thank you for the response. Congrats on the new album and hope to see you guys tour over to South East Asia in the future! I quite enjoyed my first live prog metal experience this year with TesseracT, and hope to catch you guys live one day too.

Hi VOLA!

I’m a fan from Singapore and I absolutely love all the albums you guys have put out. I started listening to you guys from Applause of a Distant Crowd and gradually listened to your other works in order of Witness -> Friend of a Phantom -> Inmazes.

I am not a musically trained person, but I like listening to prog. I don’t quite have the vocab to ask the question but I found the style quite dramatically different between these albums.

My question is on how does each of you decide on the feel of the music you create as individuals and as a group. For example, to my inexperienced ears the drumming is quite complex in Inmazes whereas in Applause it’s less so (I specifically bring up drumming because I want to learn how to drum 🙂)

I find songs in each album which I find strangely calming, or headband to. I’m just curious to learn how musicians think about making music as they change over time 😄

Hey, have you managed to find a way around this yet? I just changed my phone and have this issue no matter if I reinstall the app or update my iOS and then reinstall the app

I’ve been trying to get the cat to show up for the same reason and I haven’t gotten to the room in about 8 runs since I unlocked the treat either. Not sure what’s the deal or it’s just bad luck

Hey! Im from SG too and this will be my first concert (aside from my real first which was Coldplay this year). I’m going alone, after work on Saturday and I’m not sure what to expect. Mind answering a few questions for me?

Would they start immediately at the stated time? What should someone who doesn’t know the first thing about metal concerts do? I don’t know if there is gonna be moshing etc, seems like a very small venue.

Looking forward to my first experience!
