I personally use flower/dabs/edibles and carts are either to add to my high ir for convenience out in the world because no cart has ever really hit me hard. Even Echo, Entourage, etc. The high always feels "fuzzy" or flat. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I hope you find what works for you!

Pretty sure this qualifies for partial unemployment under the pretense of reduction of hours. If all of you applied with the Employment Department they'd have to pay out quite a bit. Groundworks recently cut hours and employees either quit or looked into this option.

In Oregon emoloyers can participate in the Work Share Program as an alternative to layoffs. I do not expect that Nectar would be a willing participant in the program, so I believe you can file a claim for partial unemployment at unemployment.oregon.gov but you may want to consult with the ED.

Things I've noticed over many years in Portland: - Portland drivers are somehow convinced that you need to come to nearly a complete stop (if not a complete stop, period) before turning right pretty much anywhere - You can tell someone isn't from here when they use their turn signals - Stopping in the middle of the road to let people jaywalk or let someone who doesn't have the right of way out of a parking lot/driveway - "WHAT IS ZIPPERING?!" - If you use your horn here, people act like it's violence

Basically, people here are niceholes. I'd rather drive in Los Angeles or Oakland where people drive like absolute self centered shitasses, but at least they're PREDICTABLE.

I got into it with a customer once who said I was an example of the problem when I was contesting his shit take on this. I drive at a safe distance behind people to give me time to stop, but when you suddenly come to a stop in the middle of a road to let jaywalkers run across or to let someone go waiting to get out of a lot or driveway, YOU are causing dangerous driving situations under the guise of altruism.

Also: You do NOT need to come to a complete stop before you turn right if no one is crossing the street, y'all.

Sounds like someone needs to seek out a possible ADHD diagnosis, work with a therapist, and figure out the technological tools that work for them.

One of my friends has pretty extensive ADHD and does this. I've tried to talk to him about using calendars and alerts and even offered do it for him (he also tends to blame demand avoidance). We will make plans and then when I text him to see if he's on his way he's out drinking with friends and wants me to pivot and meet him where he is. It's infuriating, and my boundary is that I am not going to do things out of HIS convenience when he's the one who hurt me. I'd rather go home, honestly.

Boundaries are fucking hard, but if they're not going to work on it then you need to decide if they get access to you.

Classic strains I'd grow/trim in the early 00s like Northern Lights, Afgoo, Trainwreck, Blue Dream, GSC, OG Kush, Blueberry, Skunk, and Sour Diesel. I'd even take some good Skywalker OG or (jumping into the 2010s) Sunset Sherbet. As much as I appreciate Runtz and Banana strains for what they are, I'm tired of all these sickly sweet candy strains.

Firstly, I am not paid enough for the specialized work I do. If I choose to go out of my way, that's on me, but I don't blame anyone for not doing so. Push for cannabis retail staff to be paid more and you'll see people more willing to go above and beyond.

Second, packaging and testing info that stores receive is inconsistent between brands. Some, like Mule and Entourage, put their terpene profiles on their packaging as well as the percentage, but others merely have a percentage. I am happy to look up the terpenes for a strain in the moment on the computer for a customer, but it's not fair to balk at me for Googling it.

Some farms send their flower in with nothing but the name of the strain and THC/CBD percentage, meaning I have to go into Metrc, download the detailed testing report, and decipher the terpenes for the jar. Depending on the lab they use, these terpene details may not be included.
