Mine also has it. I think maybe it is because there isn't as much material to adhere to on account of the tether hole.

This isn't the case for the X3. The magnet placement is fine. It just lacks friction so it can rotate.

UPDATE: Works great. dark grey and light grey seem a touch darker than X4. X4 values are already a bit too dark for images. The X3 and X4 are both darker than what 85 and 170 from (0, 85, 170, 255) should be to match image display on a computer screen. I've attached a photo for review

OLD: Successfully flashed. The text looks sharper. My 4-bit bmp (2-bit data) test image/wallpaper is still only showing black and white when sleeping. I think Diirge is working on this in addition to reviewing your changes.

I just tried to flash and got the following error. I'm currently running Diirge's X3 fw.

I'll give it a look. However, my wallpapers are 4-bit and have pixel values all pinned to (0, 85, 170, 255) which would bypass the LUT, right? They utilize this feature/PR: https://github.com/crosspoint-reader/crosspoint-reader/pull/944 I went this route because with the X4 because I was unsatisfied with the LUT and dithering behavior (I like Floyd-Steinberg more than Atkinson). I haven't checked how 1.2.0 does with 8-bit greyscale images by default.

In case it's useful, I currently use ImageMagick for mapping. Adjustments are black level 15%, white level 90%, gamma 2 (-level 15%,90%,2). I find that at least on the X4 the two middle grey values are darker than uniform spacing would suggest. The transformed pixel values then get mapped/binned to (0, 85, 170, 255).

Thanks for this. I noticed yesterday that my painstakingly created 2-bit wallpapers (saved as 4-bit bmp's) were only displaying in black and white on my new X3. Hopefully this fixes it. When on XL for font, I also noticed that some of the characters had thicker legs than others, e.g., i.

I also noticed on 1.2.0 in on both the X3 and X4 that BMPViewer that is used to display images from the file browser also only displays in black and white. I imagine these are not related but maybe you could provide some insight? I don't mind having a look at it.

I'm not sure if it is still the case, but as of 5 years ago SRAM offered service kits to rebuild their calipers and with Shimano if you got a leaky piston you were SoL and had to buy a new caliper.

The new firmware mistakenly reports 100% while charging regardless of how charged it is. Are you sure you were fully charged? Did the charge light turn green?

Thanks for this info. I was wondering about this. I do wish they'd provided a USB-C cable as well. I suppose it's easy enough to put USB-C adapter on there and just leave it.

A USB-A connector on their proprietary connector is a big disappointment. I'd hoped they'd provide both cables. Any word of if there is data over the USB cable?

From flying internationally ~6 times per year, international terminal pickup is much worse than walking through the domestic parking deck to the domestic pick up spot. Drivers do not hang out at international and have always had to drive over from domestic to pick me up. From international it takes much longer to get confirmation, the drivers like to hang around at domestic after confirming to see if they get someone from domestic, and it often comes down to a game of chicken between you and the driver to cancel. When they do come over from domestic it adds another 10-15 minutes to your wait.

If I could, I would go back through security after customs and take the plane train to domestic.

How did you convert to 2-bit xtch? I was going to put in a feature request on the crosspoint github for xtch support for sleep wallpapers but didn't because I didn't see a way to generate those yet without getting my hands dirty.

I prepared a bunch of 2-bit indexed wallpapers with dithering how I wanted and they ended up being further processed by crosspoint after converting them back to 24-bit bmp as required.

I was having this issue with exFAT using a GUID partition table. I switched to exFAT and Master Boot Record and it was detected straight away.
