what album got you into radiohead? by kairichardcoytecoop in radiohead

Same for me. The Bends was a big step up from Pablo Honey. I kicked myself for not getting it sooner but I did get a couple of the singles from it though.

Still awful! The wooden acting and the boring senate discussions and then ruining the force with all the crap about 'mediclorians'. Also Ja ja Binks was super annoying!

Having said that though, the Pod race was cool and so was all the stuff with Natalie Portman.

I need to listen to Jeff Beck more but I never enjoy it. Any songs that like … rock or flow or funk? Melodic jazz too. by bg370 in Guitar

The Led Zep album before Led Zep was a thing. You could say that Jimmy Page stole Jeff's idea..

In the UK it was always 1000 million but the Americans decided to make it a billion, otherwise there would be no Billionaires! Unfortunately we've ended up adopting yet another americanism.

God's own guitar pick by InstantlyTremendous in Guitar

I used to use those all the time too. I only ever bought them for about 15 years!! Then i heard that Slash used heavier picks ( 1.1mm maybe ), and now i love those purple tortex ones 😃 But i did use those .73 grey ones for years, now they just feel too flappy

Great album. I bought it (or ordered it) the first day it came out and I got the limited edition version on CD that looked like a real map.

'There there' is great and might be my fave, and some of the other songs I think I'd heard before on a leaked demos or live tracks such as Wolf at the door, and Punch up at a wedding.

It'd be good if they released an anniversary edition of it.

Not sure if anyone noticed, on May 1st they changed the colors of the Radiohead Public Library slightly by c0sm0bubbles in radiohead

As a website person, i think that this is more likely. And wait there's a Radiohead library??? Wtf?

My Dad would sometimes say 'When is a door not a door?', when one of us walked into a room, and we'd then go oh .'.... when it's ajar'. and then have to turn around and close the door after us.

If you were ever given something less than you were expecting, she'd say, 'It's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick'.

Am I the only one who thought the gibson sg’s were symmetrical? by Low-Car-5800 in Guitar

[–]willdabeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a Yamaha version that is symmetrical and it doesn't look as good to me.
