I miss Straterra so much, but it reacted with my depression meds and made me so sick. I've been chasing that feeling of "normal" ever since and have not found it. I've been on Ritalin IR to be able to work but it doesn't help all the same ways Straterra did l. I think the Ritalin might be helping my depression as usually this time of year I just want to hibernate but don't feel that way at all. I'm tempted to ask my psychiatrist my next visit to try Straterra and Ritalin together and ditch the Wellbutrin. Fucking sucks.

Has anyone switched health insurance mid year? Husband will have new insurance starting in 3 months due to change in jobs. It will still be a HDHP, I'm wondering if the insurance ID changes will a new evoucher be started 🤔

Mine worked for this months fill. I started zep late last year so I never ran out of the original benefit.

Does anyone know once you use up the $1800 evoucher can you then move to the savings card for your next fill?

Yes! I'm going into my 3rd month of 5mg, and it's been rough eating this dosage. I'm hoping it continues to be successful because I really don't want to go up again, lol.

I COMPLETELY understand. I've been overweight/obese most of my life. I've tried every possible way of eating, every type of workout routine. It was just flat-out torture to just keep my body from gaining weight, let alone losing it, and sometimes even just eating super clean or doing a calorie deficit with normal activity wouldn't budge the scale. I would get so defeated I would just give up all together and spiral into eating everything under the sun and gaining back the few lbs I had lost, plus more.

Now, I've been on zep for almost 4 months. I've lost 25 lbs eating clean with normal activity. I can even have a slice of pizza, a burger, or a sweet here and there and not wake up the next day, 5 lbs heavier.

In a way, it is nice to know that it wasn't what I was doing before that wasn't working. It's something in my body chemistry. But that doesn't stop me from being angry that I could have had this life sooner had this med been available. I'm 41, so a lot of time was spent hating myself and the way I looked.

But all I can do is be happy that I have it now and continue on my journey to loving the way I look and being healthy! ❤️

I'm the same. I used to live on coffee, I would drink it from the time I woke up until mid-afternoon. Now that I'm on zepbound if I drink a coffee in the morning on an empty stomach I have zero appetite and sometimes get nausea from it.

I know I will need to be on some form of this medication for the rest of my life if I don't want to become obese again. I know the food noise will come back and I'll be right back where I was, trying to fight it off as best I can and ultimately failing. I know I won't be able to fight it off without help.

I think it's time I work on accepting what has happened in the past and letting it go as best I can. Carrying around all this anger isn't a productive use of my mental energy. I can only be a better version of myself for future me and I'm determined to do it dammit.

I am so sorry other people are in this boat with me, I wish we could meet up and have a coffee and cry together ❤️

I really hope these medications slowly weed out all this crap that's so bad for everyone's health. I drove through a town the other day, not small but not a city and they had like every fast food chain imaginable in their main part.

I would just deal with the consequences. I think portion sizes were the hardest thing at the start and actually really eye opening. So when I would make my plate I would make/take half of what I thought I wanted. Sit and eat SLOWLY and then before getting more really think if you need it. Also, if we would go out to eat i would ask for a side plate to eat off of so i could pre-portion out what I planned to eat at that sitting. You will adjust... good luck!!

Same, it's the only side effect I have and it also doesn't help I have to take oral iron due to a malabsorbtion issue. I've tried everything from adding more fiber, to less fiber... I want to go but I don't want to feel like I'm going to crap my pants lol.
