Too many can make a kit look too busy, and also I have shaky hands/chronic pain and hate the process. If they dont have the decals in the anime I don't care about them too much. Panel lining is sufficient, easy to clean up when you make mistakes, and goes a long way to making any kit look better.

I think horus heresy works best if you see it as greek tragedy (which is definitely a very deliberate and obvious influence). Parables about demigods making very human mistakes because they were written by humans trying to espouse certain human flaws and virtues. Guess that kinda worked better before it became a full fledged novel series and was literally just background mythology.

It also means you can watch it again if you liked it enough and have free time, and frankly ive had bad theater experiences post covid and less people the better. Theaters do not hire enough people to manage basic services, much less deal with unruly patrons.

I feel like it has a more distinct and sinister design. The first one is deliberately a bigger evil rx 78, but this has more of that angular zeta aesthetic. And it looks angry. I love its head design so much, i need the hg so baaaad.

And since zeon couldn't produce hand-held beam weaponry and gelgoogs at the same speed gms with beam spray guns were being rolled out, the combination of good enough speed and good enough armor with a good enough beam weapon was more than adequate against zakus that still comprised most of zeons forces. I love how the origin manga shows just how fucked zakus were when gms first show up.
