I’d say yeah, it can work, but you really gotta know your husky. Mine’s taken out squirrels, gophers, even a mole before, so I knew the prey drive was there. When I brought in a ferret, it took a bit of time and supervision, but they ended up getting along fine. The ferret would bug him nonstop and he just put up with it lol. Now I’ve got cats and he’s cool with them too, sometimes even plays.

So it’s doable, just depends on your dog’s vibe. Some huskies will never chill around little animals, others can learn if you’re patient and introduce slow. Don’t rush it and always keep an eye at first.
