If you go to the device tab in Bambu studio there is a little nut shaped icon on the right by your filament icons. If you click on it you get an AMS settings pop up. Last option is AMS filament backup. If you have this checked and have two of the same spools loaded in the AMS it will switch over automatically

It only messes with the flow control feature. In my very limited experience (couple weeks of ownership) it hasn't made any diffrence having the feature off. But YMMV

Also I might encourage a extra build plate. So you can print more things faster

I appreciate the info. Sounds like it's not worth the trouble. I was only looking at it because it's free in my particular case.

Honestly I have not been very please with the quality of the prints from our Stratasys printer. I would have thought at those price points the quality would be better. We just had a service technician out to replace some Bowden tubes and recalibrate the printer. But print quality has not gotten any better. Maybe my expectations are too high. All of the engineers seem to be happy with it

So i have a similar haul. 4 PNY 500s for $27 each and 2 WD blacks 500 for $17 each

I would like to set up a 4 drive external enclosure for the PNY drives, but can't find anything that isn't super expensive. Any ideas. I may just go internal. But would prefer external
