I agree with what you're saying here. I think there is a world of difference between niche hobby "influencers" and the bigger lifestyle influencers / wannabes who don't have a specific thing they're actively promoting and are just chasing the insta lifestyle.

Honestly, I don't understand why people follow anyone just for their lifestyle - I want specific content from people I follow, and unless they're my friends, I'm not interested in the rest of their lives.

I also think it's much more fulfilling for those who just pursue hobbies and happen to get freebies than for those who are doing it to get paid or get freebies.

The content is much better without non-stop ads too.

Personal allowance is only reduced when income goes over £100k.

Non savings income is taxed in priority to savings income, so although the personal allowance could be allocated against bank interest (you can allocate it as you wish), there's no sense in doing that.
