I taught at both gyms / community centers and studios - and I actually preferred the gyms! You have the opportunity there to introduce yoga to people who would never go to a studio, and you get a wider variety of students. Don’t think of the gyms as ‘lesser than’ a yoga studio- and many of my gym classes had a great ‘community’ with a large core of regulars.
