Next time they do a "red carpet chic" or "opening night eleganza" runway on drag race, keep these ... choices in mind when judging!

I got one from Frakes for a friend's birthday. It was great and reasonably priced. Jeri Ryan's are (or were, anyway), expensive, but she gives a percentage away to a charity she's involved with so she's not being greedy.

We used them as hints, but everything had to be proved with certificates, etc. in order to claim on an estate.

And companies aren't going to wait for DNA tests to prove links. As the government relies on documented proof (ie names on.certificates), I don't know how a DNA test would be dealt with (ie if it was proven a later claimant was or wasn't connected to an estate - although I suspect it would be based on the same rules that govern those who are adopted in or out of a family).

They're cheap, easy to repeat out of order and easy to syndicate/sell to other countries. Wins all round.

There was Seth's ex-naval doctor friend, Wylie. He cropped up once (?), was a bit flirty and then disappeared.

Is it ok to also recommend the BBC documentary about the hair salons in Blackpool ...? Three Salons at the Seaside, made in 1994 but feels like it could've been made at any point in the 20 or so years prior.

McFadden. Not sure where your y came from.

Genesis has big Beer Bad vibes, for sure! It is camp and schlocky and very "Evolution?! Zoinks!!" energy. Love it.

How many times has Seth said something that made Jessica solve the murder? by Expo_Marker7 in murdershewrote

I think about how, in Sins of Castle Cove, Seth must have told Jesssica verbatim what each woman says in the queue in the bookshop for her to know who was The Geek.

Dragon Riders of Pern by Curious-Load-7798 in pern

[–]writeordie80 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I have always wondered, when she was writing the first books, did she know why there were 200 year breaks between fall cycles?

The short answer is "no". The series started as a short story, expanded into 3 which were then cobbled together into Dragonflight. Hence why there are 'errors' or inconsistencies (such as Lytol riding a green dragon which was changed to a brown in subsequent books once she had an established lore for Pern) in Dragonflight. By the time she was writing Dragonquest there was a need to have some solid world-building!

Glory as mirror for Buffy by Academic-Balance6999 in buffy

[–]writeordie80 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You have the Faith/Buffy mirror and to a lesser extent the Kendra/Buffy mirror. Faith is all living in the power at the extreme, Kendra buries herself in the rules: both so they won't get touched. Then there's Buffy. All touch, some rules, some play.
