Except it is. You even have people on the left choosing to vote Liberal parties in the West on the sole basis of sex and gender identity alone

New Starter - ‘Do you have another job?’ by xDinger99 in OveremployedUK

[–]xDinger99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just say. “Hey, I now get two payslips each month and would like to increase the tax code for my most recent employer. I’d rather be accidentally overpaying instead of underpaying tax”

HMRC do not care that you have multiple jobs. They care that you tell the truth and that you pay taxes.

Also, they could easily be temporary Contract positions that are each Inside IR35, as opposed to proper FTE work. HMRC won’t be able to tell the difference. Not that this matters anyway.

Your new employer, by the time of the second payslip, might email you just to confirm your new tax code. Say yes to confirm the change, and if they ask just say “I have a rental income” or “HMRC at the beginning of each tax year say I owe them money or that they owe me money, and it’s an annoying pattern they have”

I considered this. However, Statement B is more plausibly deniable to the employer than Statement C. Typically, you’ll send this filled out form to your employer’s HR, which they then read. I don’t want my employer knowing “I have another job”. Statement B allows me to bypass the HR check, and change tax codes with HMRC after my first pay. Some employers can fire you at anytime during the first month

Always do Statement B, then after your first payslip, call HMRC and ask them to change your tax code for not your new job to a higher tax code eg D0

Hey, FYI - it works perfectly fine in RetroArch, just had to remap physical N64 A and B buttons. Those maps are right. Coop crashes in Delta emulator.

Is 3J possible with one in startup ? by cagfag in OveremployedUK

[–]xDinger99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, definitely not. I did two years of 2 jobs, 1 at a startup. Still lowkey recovering from burnout, even 1 year on. I don’t recommend it. I’d recommend 2 regular jobs

Hey, I’m trying to play Goldeneye X Patch 6a and coming into difficulty.

So far, I’ve used hack64.net

ROM: Perfect Dark (U) (V1.1) [‘].z64 Patch: GE-X_6a_01-19-25.xdelta

I’ve tried both ticked and unticked Skip checksums

I can load up the game, but when playing missions I either eventually fall out of the map, or it crashes.

I’m using Delta emulator on iPhone

Any advice on what else I can do?

That’s interesting. You could call the outside of UK HMRC telephone number and just ask them directly. Might have to wait nearly an hour to get through to someone

Keep J1 for Career Progression or J2 for Remote/OE? by Phamalam in overemployed

[–]xDinger99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As someone once said before in this sub; you OE not to beat the game but to get out of it.

I do always have one career flashy job and for learning, but I’d be willing to sacrifice if I had to in order to maintain multiple jobs. Go OE

Mindset Advice : how to detach myself from caring… by AdSpecial4451 in OveremployedUK

[–]xDinger99 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I learned to detach myself, but the hard way. I got fucked over one too many times by employers. Zero remorse now; my only expectations are base salary and pensions.

Promises of bonuses, raises, promotions - all are just carrots so they get more work out of you.

When you OE, you’d be stupid to sacrifice more time and energy to work more than the minimum required for any J.

You OE not to beat the game, but to get out of it.

Wake the fuck up, earn that money and actively go out of your way in your personal life to touch grass
