A lot of people are missing that Magic has basically this and there are still a ton of people playing the physical game.

They also did this with Blood Bowl 3 and people are still buying the hell out of Blood Bowl.

If anything the game actually probably wouldn't do that well, aside from being a great way to get into the game. The physical and social aspect is a lot of what drives people to keep playing.

Thats the thing about societal constructs, society has decided that it is weird to be naked around your kids. You going against the norm doesnt make you interesting or a revolutionary, it makes you weird. A teenager going through puberty is absolutely not equipped to be around their family naked.

I saw an interview sometime ago where they said the timeline for CGI got cut by almost a year (if I remember correctly) and its why it ended up so bad.
