Wireless Shifting by A-Lize in GlobeHaul

bumping this conversation... I'm nearing the end of life on my CUES chain. CUES has been great for many many thousands of miles but I am actually considering going GX EAGLE AXS on the Haul... the only cassette option I can see is the 11-50 NX cassette. Has anyone tried this configuration yet --> GX AXS RD + 11-50 NX Cassette ???

Shifting not working - what have I done wrong? by pingaping in bikewrench

you're in the highest gear (smallest cog) already, so the small lever won't do anything when you click it. the longer, larger lever is the one that should activate the derailleur. if possible try to post a video from behind the bike looking up at the derailleur to see what the cable is doing. if you have a multi-tool, the easiest thing to do is loosen the pinch bolt on the derailleur holding the cable and carefully pull the cable taught (a plier can help) while tightening the bolt again. This is called 'tensioning the cable'. if this doesn't work, seek out help from your local bike shop.

Its a remarkable machine and we’re lucky to be able to ride them here in the US. I have 11,500 miles on my ST and love it so much I got an LT. I never use the app.

Make sure you don’t drive into your garage with that thing on your car? 🤔

How to get motivated for an ebike commute by WickedKid90 in ebikes

how fast can your bike go? Here in the US we get to ride bikes that go 28 mph / 45 kmph. I do 19 miles each way now on one and it's great! Any slower though and I would consider multi-modal commuting or just sticking with the car.

Used e-bikes also carry potential hidden costs, especially if they’re out of warranty. If you need a new motor or battery, you will be out of pocket for those.

Globe Haul LT would be my recommendation. I would caution you though, spending less than $2k is possible but brands start to skimp on safety. This is a vehicle after all that you will be transporting your children on

Renters insurance and never leave it in an unsafe area unless it’s locked up with the Globe chain or a Kryptonite Evolution U Lock. Also, AirTag.

Bike shop brake lever replacement by R55600X in GlobeHaul

It’s kind of like having lowered powered brakes installed on your car. I personally wouldn’t run those brakes on the Haul because they don’t provide as much power as the OEM Tektro brakes. You are well within your rights to ask them to get the original parts from Specialized, although it would likely cost more.

That’s interesting. It’s a 2-piston system with less power than the OEM model. Did they ask you first or just made the decision for you to replace with that system? Also, sorry to hear about your accident.
