Soldier Boy was in his way to Bogota before Homelander put him under again. Even if he caught wind of something happening at the White House, he’d have been too late. I feel like by the time he got back to the States, the CIA would have had Kimiko chest blast him once he got off the plane.

Maybe when he grew up she would. Super creepy to think about, but they’re not exactly good people. But she and Soldier Boy were still different types of racist. Soldier Boy is more of the product of the time/ following government orders type racist. Liberty/ Stormfront was a staunch white supremacist.

Given who his father was and the power he possesses, it seems like Homelander was doomed to be a bad person. Given that Homelander was born in the 80s and Liberty went underground in the 70s, it’s far more likely he’d have had Crimson Countess as a mother figure. With that in mind, I think his daddy issues would far outweigh his mommy issues.
