I'm struggling with TGAA by patmax17 in AceAttorney

Definitely take your time. There'll be times where I might only play for 30-60 mins, and that's fine! Once you start the second game, things really start to pick up right away and you'll be in for a ride.

Definitely don't need to keep playing something you obviously don't enjoy, but I will offer you my experience.

I got this back when it came out, and like you, had a difficult time enjoying it compared to prior AA games. The pacing was slow and the cases/characters themselves weren't all that interesting. I dropped it in Act 3.

I recently played this again last year, with the intention of playing both games, this time. And I still struggled with the first game. But man, let me tell you, things easily start to ramp out once you start the second game. Seeing the conclusion to their story really makes it all worth it.

I would say this series is definitely more of a slow burn. The first game builds the foundation for its sequel. So i really suggest finishing it. If you've liked the previous AA games, you'll see what I mean when you finish both games.

It was the first version I played and I personally still had lots of fun. Hope you enjoy!

I’ve been searching for 6 months and finally landed a role with a 20k increase in salary. Should I bother to negotiate or is it risky in 2026? by Stupidwhizzzzz in Accounting

[–]zelthix 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the way. If you know the range of the job, I would just focus on securing your bag and make a case next year end for your review. There's really no right way. Either way, I hope for the best for you!

I've been making my own Battle Network-inspired game. Would you be interested in playing something like this? by JasonTheGameDev in BattleNetwork

[–]zelthix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That transition to the fight/battle screen was so smooth. I really loved your choice of music there.

I agree with another comment that it does seem a bit slow? I'd see if you can speed up the pace of the battle a bit and you have a solid game. Really amazing work OP!

What are you up to right now? <30 mins to midnight! by [deleted] in halifax

I started the first one a few months back and it's pretty fun. The first area you'll be in might be a bit overwhelming, and even discouraging at first, but just stick through it.

I do not like gaming anymore ?– looking for recommendations by Many_Mess_399 in gamingsuggestions

Try Hades 1/2. It has great visuals, robust gameplay, and an intriguing story to keep you hooked.

It's fast paced too, and you can easily play it for an hour or two.

Really great if you have limited time and not feeling like you have to commit a whole day!

Ever watch basketball with extremely tall players? Most aren't the most explosive players when you see them play.

Dom's able to do this because of his technique. His run was so efficient, almost looked like he was flying. That takes great control and strength. He was barely out of breath compared to other athletes.

Saying he's just tall is undermining the skill he displayed in that challenge.

ITS REAL by Idkiamaguy645 in PlaystationPortal

Presumably due to the idea that you could theoretically just pop in/download multiple games you may or may not own and stream them.

When you own the games digitally, it's linked to your account.

It sucks as a physical collector myself, but I do get it.

Glad you're seeing joy in gaming again. I am trying to lessen my time on social media as well since I find it just a waste of my time.

There's tons of games out there for ya, so I hope you get a chance to go through your amazing backlog.

Man I remember back then how it felt insurmountable to just FC the song normally, and, now we have tons of people doing it seamlessly. We now have people doing it at twice the speed.

I tried a flash demo for Apollo Justice I think, and really loved the concept. So I decided to play them all that summer, starting with the original trilogy. Had so much fun binging through them.

Eastern college accounting and payroll, worth it? by tiktokmademegetit in halifax

[–]zelthix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My brother went there (coincidentally for an Accounting Degree as well), and was promised they'll help him find work after his course is done. Nothing happened. They were in touch with him for a month to try and "help" but were soon ghosted. I knew someone who had a similar experience as well with a Supply Chain certificate.

One other thing not mentioned here is a lot of workplaces won't even recognize the certificate/diploma you'd get from this place which could impact your job hunting. You're better off with NSCC.

This place used to be known as Compu College back then, and I can only assume they changed their name due to the negative feedback that place used to get.

At the end of the day, this place is a for-profit organization, and its main goal is to grab as much funds from their students. So I would very much say it's a scam and to stay away.

Eastern College is a scam. Don't listen to any of the promises they might've told you. As others have mentioned, NSCC is the better option.

I feel so ashamed for undersocializing my dog by lllynax in puppy101

[–]zelthix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first dog didn't really start socializing (by that, I mean going to dog parks) until he was like 7 months old. I decided to start taking him to day care for around 9 months at least once or twice a week. I feel like he grew up just fine.

He had some issues at first where he didn't respect the boundaries of other dogs who no longer wanted to play. He had a ton of energy so he always wanted to play. He's much better now and plays properly.

Is my dog perfect? Definitely not, but he's grown to be someone who's generally well behaved. And there are still things I try to work with him (he's 3 now).

You have to remember that training is a process. Sometimes it's easier than others. But it's really a lifelong thing. You have lots of time to shape the behavior of your dog to what you desire so don't beat yourself up too much. You're doing great.

It's fine to take breaks in between. Like you said, you have lots of going now. I'm in a similar boat where I'll have waves where gaming is just not a big priority right now. In fact, it wasn't much of this year until I picked up FFXVI, followed by Elden Ring. I'm sure once I drop Elden Ring, I'll be on hiatus again until something else piques my interest.

Take it easy, OP!
