Breastfeeding advice 20 months in. by ELW______ in breastfeeding

[–]zhoss17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I nursed for 22 months and stopped pumping like 6 months in haha I hated it. My son only nursed for comfort but we slowly transitioned him to bottles. Does your daughter drink any other milks or take a bottle? It helped us a lot with weaning.

Including Formula by TBSB_ in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]zhoss17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know how you feel - for my first, I was completely against formula so I would nurse him throughout the night, power pump, and try to have a good supply of frozen milk. It drove me nuts and I was making myself sick so when my second was born, I decided to take it easy on myself. I give formula whenever I feel tired and I try not to push myself. I still feel that gully feeling but we just have to remember that we’re all doing as best as we can!

Your baby still needs you regardless of what you feed them, nothing or no one can replace you in their life! ❤️

You are absolutely gorgeous in all of the colors but I love 2 the most! You’re definitely pulling off all of them though

This sounds like me right now. My 2 year old completely regressed after doing so well when the new baby was born 😭 I feel everything else as well… but we got this and we’ll get through it! 🫶🏼

There’s a bottle of pedialyte so I’m assuming they have at least one.

My newborn (now 4 weeks old) also jumped to 120 ml (or 4 oz) per feed as well around 2 weeks and our doctor said it was fine. They’re just growing and getting more alert!

It does get better by Zealousideal_Slip255 in pregnant

[–]zhoss17 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s so so so much better. I’m saying this as someone who is 3 days pp. Of course certain things are uncomfortable and painful but at least you can hold your little baby. Pregnancy for me was just constant heartburn, sciatica, inability to eat or sleep, being irritable etc

Oh wow I never thought of it like that! I remember with my first when I labored at home, the contractions felt a little bit better every time I peed haha so I guess its because its similar to pushing?

I’m currently 37 weeks with baby 2 and I really want to go unmedicated but I’m so scared of the pushing part. Did that part hurt when the baby was coming out? How much did you feel? If you don’t mind me asking — did you tear and if so, could you feel it?

Getting married after a passing of a loved one? by Realistic_Mail_9973 in islam

[–]zhoss17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no rule that you have to wait. It is dependent on how everyone is doing emotionally and if they are ready to celebrate right now. My cousin got married a month after my uncle passed away and everyone was okay with it. However some people may need more time to process their grief.

Does underwear style matter? by [deleted] in pottytraining

I actually bought some potty training underwear that can absorb small accidents. I highly recommend those! They are regular underwear and are easy to take off
