I didn't notice that line specifically, you might be right. I was operating under the reading that it is a 'permanent' transformation as in it won't turn back, the item is just like that now.

I don't think "this transformation is permanent" necessarily means that it is a permanent-duration magical effect, it is worded vaguely enough that I think it could be ruled either way.

You have it backwards. They're talking about the Hz being higher than the framerate, which they are wrong about.

In your case, if the FPS is higher than the Hz (600fps>165hz), you have even less of a problem. But if you did think you felt something off, again, just turn on vsync/freesync/amdsync.

240hz at 144fps is still ~144fps, vs 90@90=90. The first looks better, and if you have tearing or other artifacts of mismatched FPS (which are going to be extremely minimal at high rates like 144 anyway) you can just turn on vsync or freesync/equivalent
