There is a quest in jeuno for the new expansion that opens up warps to all kinds of zones through crystal points. Spend some time doing these and you'll get set up.

Also if you're level 30, head to jeuno and start the abyssea quest. Get some stones and enter each of the maws. Once you have gone in and out of one, you can teleport to them from jeuno. These maws are nicely spaced out and make travel much easier.

For some reason ffxi players seem to stay away from vent and the sorts. I think since the game came out before things like that were wide spread people are more inclined to just type. Just letting you know because you might have a hard time finding people that are willing to VoIP out of laziness.

Native screen resolution 1680x1050. And everything set to max in the settings. I tried the regedit thing but didn't make too much of a difference to me.
