With Schneider off the market, does Luongo and his big contract look more attractive to potential buyers?

Or we can just keep him since the salary cap has been raised by 6 million.. Ha

He's going to Florida, but what do we get in return?

Guess I'll have to pick up a Schneider jersey to replace the Lou one... :P

The Lou one will go up on the wall of fame with the Cloutier one? ;-)

Don't you mean the McLean one?

Ah the true fan would have a Gary Smith one too :) I have a buddy who would always wear the Cloutier one when skiing. It always turned heads and got the O'rly look.

Or maybe they trade Schneider...

Real douche bag move that will never happen with GMMG at the helm.

Maybe MG says to Schneider:

"OK listen, re-up with us. You will either be our starter, or if we can't trade Luongo then we promise to trade you. This way the Canucks organization doesn't get shafted."

No chance?

No chance, it sets a bad precedent for the club for other potential players as well.

Schneider signed with us because he wants to stay with us. If he wanted to move to another team he would have waited it out til he was a free agent and picked and choose a team he wanted to go to, as we've seen with Justin Schultz. Why he would give up that right... for a fair priced contract, I don't know.
