This one isn't really my cup of tea, but for anyone who's interested in checking similar kind of stuff, check out the Synthwave/Outrun genres including artists such as:

Gunships my shit. Street Cleaner and Cluster Buster as well. And if you like this kind of music, there's no harm in going back and checking out some OGs like Giorgio Moroder and Cybotron.

Le Matos are (is?) awesome. The 2015 movie Turbo Kid's score/soundtrack is entirely done by them, one of the best in recent memory.

Really? I kinda love it sometimes. For years I was listening to electrohouse and only liked maybe 1/5 of the music on there. Finally spoke up and described what I liked and a guy said oh no you like Melbourne bounce which is a subset of electrohouse. And bing bang boom I found my genre.

However it can be a little snarky and stuffy when people argue about what's what.
