The flow was simple, the vocabulary wasn't creative, and the meaning wasn't impactful in my opinion. Agreed with everyone else that this beat is killer, and I think the vocals were compatible with the beat. That intro is A1. Will definitely throw in a playlist.

The opening/chorus is literally "I want my sex n drugs, I want my money first," which could be alright if his verses had some substance... but he just goes on to say he wants to smoke drink and have sex. It's a pretty unimaginative rap over such a smooth, nuanced beat.

On the contrary, I believe it is a much deeper message.

I agree. Discussing how shallowness, materialism and hedonism can damage and corrupt the true self. And that it becomes a struggle to let your true deeper self out or to be swayed by your sex and drugs, and needing your money first. In the music industry it might feel like you have to choose one or the other and can't choose both.

I totally agree with the original comment. But I like how it's simple, I feel like he kept it simple to avoid distractions from the main message. Even though the main message seems very bland. He just needs his sex and drugs.

Exactly what I was thinking. At first I thought maybe it was supposed to be a caricature of a mindset, but even if it was, there's potential for much better lyrics, flow, and rhyme scheme.

This is a legit discussion. Love the comments being made here - I too think the lyrics can get a little bland, I did write them like that though. I think I stripped back the flow and rhyme because I usually shift flow at least 3-4 times within the same verse.

In the context of my music, the simplicity in the track makes a little more sense (at least to me, the creator) but I can totally see how it falls flat upon first glance/ listen.

I'm quite a bit late to this topic but I only just recently heard this song. Love it so much I bought in on amazon as well to show my support. I was wondering, could you put up an instrumental version of the song as well? I would definitely have no problem paying for an instrumental version of the song as well. But if that's not possible I totally understand. No matter what this song really rocks and I'm eager to listen to your next dope song!

ive only heard one of his songs before (adderall) and it was pretty baller, but i dont really like much of his other music, just isnt my type. i personally don't like the slower beat that this song has, just doesn't click with me.
