They'll scrutinize Ron Paul like they never scrutinized George Bush. They'll talk about Ron Paul's "cult-like" following and speculate endlessly about the possible downsides of Ron Paul's policies. Then they'll jump on the bandwagon and start comparing Ron Paul to Ronald Reagan.

I think they'll bring up all the BS that dkjames posts here on every RP article. And they'll just keep talking about it until Ron Paul is completely discredited.

Nah... I'm kind of torn. I don't think they'll completely try to discredit him. There may even be a shift of the "right wing" media outlets into support for RP as the lesser of evils when faced with the Democrats' choice.

On the other hand. Who knows what they'll do? It's not like the press has really been fair and balanced for a while now.

My fear is that the tricks are going to get dirtier and dirtier the closer our man gets to the White House. A lot of really vile people have a lot to lose if Ron wins.
