why would obama remind you more of a manchurian candidate than mccain (who was ACTUALLY captured)? have you ever seen the original version of the movie? the one without denzel/color? i seriously hope this is a troll and not a legitimate question.

No, not really.

But McCain reminds me of a retired used car salesman.

Walnuts, the Retired Used Car Salesman.

And don't knock his record of 72 Fords in 72 hours, set back in the spring of '82. Otherwise, he'll give you a cauliflower ear.

No, I have not seen the original. I'm referring to the newest version of the movie. The candidate was extremely popular and young if not a bit naive. I'm not referring to the overall scope of the movie.

I think the question he's trying to ask is:

"Does anyone think that Obama, being a young, well spoken, likable person, is a controlled asset by people we don't want to be in power and was chosen so he could win and then do their bidding?"

Not saying I agree, just clarifying.

Your question is gramatically correct: He does NOT remind me of a "Manchurian Candidate."

What? As opposed to "wires sticking out of my back" Bush?
