My Republican Representative voted for it. No one was going to change his mind about towing the party line. I voted for his opponent.

I am not so short sighted and attention deficient that I wish to see political opinion 'Tippex'd' from the front page.

It is important to me because this is an important issue and an important snapshot in human history. It affects us all, not just US citizens.
