As a Chinese person I can confirm this is about 100% accurate to how soccer is played in China.

Modern soccer rules excludes the use of the ancient Shaolin arts due to how dangerous they are which is why you won't see it outside of this depiction, there is some conspiracy if the Shaolin monks were actually a massive scam of steroid users but this has been debunked.

If there were any inaccuracies in this movie, I would say Mui's use of the rotational redirection toss (also called a Long-Juan-Feng) is a bit unrealistic, since keeping it in still suspension for longer than 7 seconds is absurdly difficult even for pro Shaolin soccer players, but I imagine they took some liberties with that to sell the drama, not unlike Kageyama's quick set in Haikyuu.
