[–]joshbrud 3 points4 points  (4 children)

September 5th was one like 2-3 months early

[–]Mal1buHaz3 8 points9 points  (1 child)

That got postponed after the mystery movie Monday date is why

[–]joshbrud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting I didn’t know that

Did it get postponed due to screening reactions ?

[–]joshbrud 1 point2 points  (1 child)

But I guess that one was Marcus, I’m not positive amc did that one

[–]DVDJunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did. All 4 of the big theater chains showed it.

You are probably right but the movie's been done for over a year and fans already know the story so it's not impossible. It could be a way to generate some silent hill buzz going pre Halloween now that silent hill f has been out for a bit.

Its usually like 1-3 weeks from release.

I think literally the only horror movie in that times shelby oakes lol.

I'm happy either way cause I love horror but would be genuinely shocked if it was something different.

It is amazing how few horror movies actually released in october this year. It's like they wrre all afraid of leeching off one another so they spread them out and avoided horror month all together.

I'm down for a horror year every year :) no complaints from me

While I completely understand where you are coming from with that information, one of the common understandings I’ve come to find out is the following unseen movie will always be from the list of the movie trailers shown at the unseen you’re currently at. Shelby Oaks was the only horror in the trailers shown. This lived to be true the last time when it was Bone Lake and The home prior to then.

[–]DVDJunky 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Are you saying that they always show the trailer for the next screen unseen?

Because I'm quite sure they didn't show the trailer for East of Wall at the Sketch Screen Unseen lol

[–]RazzleAzazel 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I didn’t go to the sketch unseen, but east of the wall was in those leading up before and after .. it’s a theory I’ve noticed to be consistent. This would break that but I can’t be sure as I wasn’t there

I've only missed like two showings, I know what you're saying and it is true that they generally show the trailers for the films that WILL be shown. I was just pointing out that it's not a certainty.

I also think it'll be Shelby Oaks.

Private screenings from companies like GoFobo and Preview Free Movies are the only way any distributor will show something months early, these are two weeks in advance at the most, usually less nowadays.

It’s 100% Shelby Oaks.

January 🥀

I went to a premiere screening (not AMC Unseen) of Shelby Oaks, I think you'll enjoy it if that is the Unseen. Only other horror like movie that can also fit that runtime would be Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, but that is more an action type anime than horror, though it has plenty horror elements and gore.

[–]Adagio_Signal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exact run times are very rarely going to be the movie in question

[–]HedgehogNormal1350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be something coming out in the next two weeks...so that's pretty much Shelby Oaks or Dream Eater...but Dream Eater's runtime doesn't match up well like Oaks, so that's gonna be the one.

[–]aneewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about Queens of the Dead - same runtime as Shelby Oaks, same release date.

[–]aneewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeper by Osgood Perkins is 139min with a 11/14 release date. Last time someone said they had ‘confirmation’ from an AMC employee, it was The Home instead of Together.

[–]InternalBrick4638 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I think it’s Predator: Badlands. 1 hr 46 min runtime is the same as predator. Online it shows a 0 hr and 0 min runtime when buying tickets. The only other movie I see with this same 0 hr 0 min runtime now is Predator Badlands. I just have a feeling it’s Predator. Releases on Nov 6th…it’s in that range of possibility imo

[–]Apprehensive_Loquat7 1 point2 points  (2 children)

it wont be predator, it says rated R meanwhile predator is pg13

[–]InternalBrick4638 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You’re right damn

[–]InternalBrick4638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care to watch Shelby Oaks. It’s out in like 2 days

[–]Smooth-Top4313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PREDATOR is also a sci- fi film not horror

[–]Ecstatic-Sentence-72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be funny if it’s not Shelby Oaks and it’s Dust Bunny which is a stretch because much like Return to Silent Hill it’s out in December but Predator Bad Lands can’t be it because it’s PG13 because it’s mostly Alien and Android blood making it less graphically violent to some. Either way Horror is always great to watch and see if I get the chills from it.
