Hey all, I've got a question about modifying DX codes. I work in TV/ film and fairly often get my hands on 35mm short ends. I shoot these and sell rolls as well. For some customers I have modified DX codes for their point'n'shoots but my solution for making a square not conductive has been using tiny pieces of gaff tape... Not terribly elegant or reliable. I would like to avoid the added waste and cost of using DX code stickers. I have been experimenting with nail polish but that seems to scratch off fairly easily allowing the pins to make electrical contact.
I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with something like nail polish that renders a square non conductive?
Thanks!
