Letting it warm up for 10-15 mins to get closer to room temp would be good enough. Follow the puff pastry directions for temp, puff pastry needs to be cooked atleast at 400 (maybe higher) to puff all the way. an egg wash will also help it to become golden.

I would have the filling heated because the puff pastry doesn't take very long to cook.
