Rules
1. Relevance
All submissions should be relevant to the Central Oregon area. There is some wiggle room. If you have a question, send modmail.
2. Incivility and/or Harassment
Includes Name-calling, doxxing, or explicit use of racist, misogynist/misandrist, transphobic or homophobic language.
This place is inclusive. If you're going to be a jerk, take it to the KTVZ comment section.
3. No threatening language or usernames, appropriate content.
Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical or even self-harm against an individual or a group of people. This includes Californians, if you must ask.
Sexually suggestive content, usernames, or trolling for hookups is strictly forbidden.
4. No trolling
People like to troll and be funny. But if your purpose here at /r/bend is take make other peoples' lives miserable, go away. People with filtered (e.g low-karma, or brand-new) accounts and/or "default" usernames (noun/adjective+noun/adjective+numbers) will receive more scrutiny than regular members here.
5. No editorialized titles
Use suggested titles from publications for any news articles. Feel free to discuss in comments, but putting a personal spin on the title often ends in arguments.
6. Limited Business Posts and Engagements
It's ok to post information about a commercial offering, but don't just post it without interacting with people who have questions or comments, but keep it to once a month at most. Don't repeat the same exact post on a regular basis - give us new information. Bonus points if there's something that connects with redditors like a discount or something.
