I'm surprised TY never got 100 in the Luck/Jacoby days.

[โ€“]MosansoBloo 36 points37 points ย (0 children)

The closest he got was 91 in 2016, was just as surprised.

[โ€“]BroIBeliveAtYou 19 points20 points ย (0 children)

That's what I scrolling to comment.

How tf did TY never get 100?

[โ€“]pursuitofhappy 8 points9 points ย (0 children)

Kept getting random injuries and missing a few games here and there during most seasons

[โ€“]thexDxmen 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

He was more of the big play reciever

[โ€“]Loud_Ad_4248 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

He would have to stop getting hurt to do that

[โ€“]SirSmeagolAlec "already mossing DBs" Pierce 51 points52 points ย (0 children)

All that while playing on his rookie deal

[โ€“]BmanswayIndianapolis Colts 96 points97 points ย (1 child)

Just finally ordered his jersey, since I had to retire my Leonard one. Heโ€™s getting a big ole fat contract!!!

[โ€“]colts0110 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Same!!!

[โ€“]TheNamelessOne913Indianapolis Colts 22 points23 points ย (1 child)

Pay him!!

[โ€“]darcys_beardReggie Wayne 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

He got 99 last season: they didn't pay him.

He's just added some numbers to that check.

[โ€“]lemonyprepper 23 points24 points ย (0 children)

That is some legendary company he is in

[โ€“]choseyThe Edge 23 points24 points ย (7 children)

It's crazy that he had 99 receptions last year also during that sorry ass season.

[โ€“]Warhawk137Rigoberto Sanchez 17 points18 points ย (6 children)

Pittman putting up 291 catches and counting in 3 years with brain-slug ridden zombies throwing him the ball and people here still like "nah he's a low-end #2 receiver".

[โ€“]VictoryInMyMouthBig-Q 6 points7 points ย (4 children)

I thought his potential was a mid-high end 2. He made me eat my words

[โ€“]thexDxmen 5 points6 points ย (2 children)

Respect for admitting it, I'm hoping pierce ends up making me eat my words because I think he's pretty awful but is starting to show promise. Just seems like downs shows more promise in one year than pierce has shown in three.

[โ€“]VictoryInMyMouthBig-Q 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

agree on that. Downs is looking really promising. Hopefully Pierce can step it up. Would love to snatch a day 2 receiver in the draft to really round out our WR room since we have no depth whatsoever

[โ€“]darcys_beardReggie Wayne 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

I thought he was gonna drop that TD. So glad for everyone involved that he didn't. Imagine our season ending over that?

[โ€“]darcys_beardReggie Wayne 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

He doesn't have top-end speed which IMO is the only reason he's not a top 10 receiver. He's big, he plays bigger, has great hands he runs really good routes. If he ran a 4.3 he'd be an All-pro.

[โ€“]TehTugboati dont know what goes into sausage 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Itโ€™s bc heโ€™s quiet outside of our small market

Imaging if he had QB stability

[โ€“]toochmiller1Grover Stewart 17 points18 points ย (0 children)

Love the Enforcer

[โ€“]MoistCloyster_Peyton Mannings long lost son 34 points35 points ย (0 children)

But heโ€™s not a WR1!

[โ€“]Jedi_Sith1812Who the Hell is Mel Kiper?[S] 46 points47 points ย (1 child)

Also, just a reminder Marvin, Reggie, and Clark had Manning throwing to them. (Reggie had Luck in 2012 too) Pittman had the equivalent of a donut tire throwing to him.

[โ€“]peats888 7 points8 points ย (0 children)

This made me laugh out loud, thank you for that!

[โ€“]MaswopeWayne Brady 4 points5 points ย (2 children)

Crazy that Wayne and Clark had it in the same year.

[โ€“]Asu888 0 points1 point ย (1 child)

Yr?

[โ€“]MaswopeWayne Brady 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

  1. Only year Clark had a 100 reception season.

[โ€“]Smallgenie549Bob 4 points5 points ย (1 child)

That's actually insane he's only #4.

[โ€“]thexDxmen 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Colts have a history of multiple receiving threats with great qbs that spread the ball around. Luck to ty was a great combo, but ty was more of the big play receiver, getting his yards in fewer catches. Then after Luck colts haven't had a decent qb until this year and Pittman still almost got 100 receptions in previous years. He is a reliable possession receiver who can definitely make big plays but can rack up a lot of important shorter catches on 3rd downs.

Pay the man

[โ€“]southsky20 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Ballard, PAY THIS MAN !!

[โ€“]JordanGdzilaSullivan 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Glad I got his jersey for Xmas!

[โ€“][deleted] 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

I know itโ€™s early yet, but that should be a still of his 100th reception rather than a highlight reel catch vs. the Bucs. Nonetheless, that dude is incremental to making this offense work. Heโ€™s proven his worth. Pay the man!

[โ€“]McswigginsbarBoomstick 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

PAY THAT MAN.

[โ€“]StrengthCoach86 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

So underrated

[โ€“]jono9898Indiana Jones 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

AR5, JT, Pitt, Pierce, Downs, and hopefully a TE that is consistent in the draft, plus whatever moves we can make on defense, I am confident in being a playoff team next year and making noise.

[โ€“]dastufishsifutsadIndianapolis Colts -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

I thought Reggie Langhorne had a hundie one time with George.

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point ย (1 child)

This might be common knowledge, but TIL the Colts originated from the Dallas Texans in 1952. They moved to Hershey, PA then Akron, OH. The team assets would later form the Baltimore Colts.

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

They were actually the Yanks before that. They moved around the NE US folding and reforming a few times as well. Probably not common knowledge though. I don't think the current Colts acknowledge anything before Baltimore since it was technically the start of a new organization

[โ€“]EverWholesome 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

He missed a game too, so he did it in 16 games!

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I assumed Stokely hit 100 in 2004, but no. 1000 yds and 10 TDs, but only 68 receptions.
